I thought you did a really good job on highlighting certain spots of the face and torso to make it pop, but the hair looks a little too 2d compared to the rest but that's it. I also like the use of the contrasting colors of green and red as well as the purple that really makes it pop. :P

I really enjoy the picture especially the clean line and soft coloring/shading, but I feel you missed an opportunity to rearrange them into a nice looking color pattern or just organizing them by color.

example Brights to the left and darks to the right :p

Then thus with his newly created army the alchemist was able to begin his assault on those who had dealt.... him....wrong... / I really like this illustration because it conveys an upcoming battle or event, The short blip I wrote on top was what I saw but I can also see a man poisoning this group of lizard people as well, though like you said depending on what the name of the card and what it does shall tell the story that's what I love about games like Magic the Gathering or the game this is from, The cards themselves tell the story of what the person/area in the card is and what you do with the cards is the story that you make the story of the world you make. :p *but that's just what I think...

The original description of the card was that the shaman has the ability to turn people into lizards.
But I got it wrong so I drew lizard people instead, client loved the idea so there it is :D
Its more like he is using his poison to create lizard army from humans, thats why there is one human poisoned behind the shaman :)

Though the legs, hand and head look a little out of place and can be fixed, I can't get over... I can't put it in words it's just too funny not to smile at, this has truly made my day thank you genius for making this work of beauty ;p

I really enjoy this piece as an illustration because just from this one image it's able to convey a story and the world from which the story takes place, a work of a true book writer, Well I mean thats what I think about it at least but I'm just a kid I guess.
